– Modular Safety Tower
This design reinterprets the AED cabinet not as a simple equipment box, but as a safety architectural element (Architecture) that naturally blends into urban spaces. The overall structure consists of a vertical modular form with three functional blocks—the upper display, central AED, and lower storage—providing stable proportions similar to street furniture and maximizing visibility in public areas.
The core of the design is Soft-Edge Minimalism, which gently communicates the urgency and public nature of the AED. The rounded frames on all four corners soften the cold, mechanical image typical of safety equipment, offering intuitive and approachable access for all ages. The contrast between the white body and charcoal gray panels keeps the space looking bright and clean while naturally drawing visual focus to the central AED module, facilitating immediate location recognition during emergencies.
The large upper display serves as a city information platform, demonstrating scalability as smart public safety infrastructure, while the lower compartment is designed for maintenance-focused functionality to store tools and spare parts. The balanced lines and volumes of each module establish this design as a sophisticated vertical landmark symbolizing safety in the city.
